Under new ownership since 2024, a husband-and-wife duo — formerly owners of two local cafés — are bringing a fresh, retro-modern style to the motel while keeping the warmth and simplicity of classic Kiwi stays. Our goal is to create a welcoming space where guests can enjoy holidays like they used to — full of comfort, character, and genuine hospitality.

“This motel was a pleasant suprise. Rated as 3 star (we booked as other family were already booked to stay there) we wondered what we would be letting ourselves in for.
The motel has recently changed hands and the new owners are working through the units and upgrading them. Both units our family were in were clean, modern, comfortable and excellent showers and beds.
The Owners were friendly and welcoming. This will become our new affordable motel when staying in Auckland.”

“New favorite Motel. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Cleaners are amazing. Family Rooms are very suitable for families with a few children, also with a good amount of space. We stayed here for a week for a local family event and found it suitable for all our needs including the Kids staying entertained with the pool and up stairs while the adults event prepped downstairs. Very clean, fresh renovations.

”You cannot bet the location of this motel. The new owners are doing a fantastic job renovating the rooms. It's very retro and lots of fun. The beds were comfortable and the room very clean.
