At Mt Eden Motel, we believe holidays should feel easy — relaxed, friendly, and refreshingly simple. For generations, Kiwis and travellers alike have stayed here while visiting Auckland for work, family, or play.

Under new ownership since 2024, a husband-and-wife duo — formerly owners of two local cafés — are bringing a fresh, retro-modern style to the motel while keeping the warmth and simplicity of classic Kiwi stays. Our goal is to create a welcoming space where guests can enjoy holidays like they used to — full of comfort, character, and genuine hospitality.

Just 15 minutes from Auckland’s CBD, our family-owned motel offers affordable accommodation in Mt Eden, close to Eden Park, Auckland Showgrounds, Greenlane Hospital, and leading event venues.
