Welcome to
Under new ownership since 2024, we are a husband-and-wife team who made a deliberate change for our young family. Having grown up in hospitality and spent over a decade running two local cafes, we took a leap from pouring lattes to restoring a 1970s motel back to life, one project at a time.
Our design approach is rooted in nostalgia, a place where time slows down, colour feels a little brighter, and the simplicity of classic Kiwi stays is still valued. Guests can unwind by the outdoor pool, settle into spacious rooms, and enjoy friendly, down-to-earth service. We aim to provide a stay that feels easy, familiar, and genuinely welcoming, with Mt Eden’s local cafes, shops, and village character only minutes away.
