  • Mt Eden Summit

Grab a picnic with some delicious treats and refreshing drinks and be amongst this amazing backdrop especially during sunset or sunrise. 

  • Eden Garden

    6 minutes drive 

    If you want to skip the climb or drive (no judgment) of Mt Eden, head over to Eden Garden, a 5.5-acre flower-filled garden at its base. Visit the garden for inspiration, a picnic, dine at the cafe or purchase a souvenir plant to take back home found outside their reception.

  • Potters Park

    3 minutes drive - 15 min walk

    A great little urban park with fun activities for all ages featuring a water splash-pad, extensive playground, children’s learn-to-ride cycle track and a basketball court for the adults. Take a picnic lunch to the band rotunda or under the shady trees and remember to take a photo with the ‘Boy Walking’, a 5.6m high sculpture towering above the streetscape of Dominion Road. 

  • Eden Park

    8 minutes drive

    For more than 100 years Eden Park has been the home of Auckland Cricket and Auckland Rugby. It is a hub for sporting excellence, a state-of-the-art entertainment centre and a destination for fans from across the world. If you don’t have a ticket for one of their games or concerts there are tours and experiences they offer as fun ways to be part of the action.

  • Auckland Zoo

There’s lots to see and do all year round at Auckland Zoo, including events, keeper talks and more.
